Martin's MoneyTips website is always a good place to start for finding the best deal on a whole range of things. Check out this section on travel insurance: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/cheap-travel-insuranceIt includes advice on people with pre-existing conditions and for older people so you should be able to find out what the best deal for your particular situation is. Then you want to make sure you are sufficiently covered - you will want coverage for medical costs of at least £5million. And there might be things you want to look at other than just the price of the insurance - eg what is the excess and does the insurer guarantee that they will pay medical costs immediately and not insist that you pay first something first and claim it back.It may also be worth checking out Martin's MoneyTips forum: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/ - you could possibly even try posting on there as people on that forum are generally pretty clued up on best deals and things to look out for.
