You can't take out a life insurance policy on your parents unless they know about it. If you're going to be a lawyer, make your own money! You'll probably be a good lawyer though. You're greedy enough.

Maybe you should discuss with your parents, this plan of yours to insure them and be the beneficiary...................High amounts of life insurance usually require the insured to have some kind of physical................Donot think you can just go and secretly put insurance on just any body.........Since you are going to be a lawyer, you probably have figured this all out.

How much it's going to cost, will depend on their ages, health, the type of policy you want, and how much coverage you want. It's not unusual to see a policy written for $2,000,000. HOWEVER. Assuming they're in their 50's, it's probably going to cost you several thousand dollars per month, per parent. IF they're in good health. Can you afford that? And you're right - you'll need their permission, and they will have to have physicals with blood and urine testing.

Lots of people buy life insurance for their parents. They are still the insured person and must sign the form, but you would own the policy. It would be impossible to give you a quote without knowing your parents ages, health, etc. But you can run quick competitive quotes with online forms. It takes a couple of minutes, and I think it is worth it. When I compared the same amount of life insurance, I found $300 in yearly premium difference between 10 national companies.

Yes, you can get your parents life insurance, they will need to take a physical exam and give their permission. The maximum amount you can get will depend on what you can afford, their health, the type of life insurance policy, and how much the insurance company is willing to offer. The amount you will pay will depend on the rate offered by the life insurance company. The rates charged depend on your parents health, age, amount of coverage, type of policy, their family's health history, their occupation, their hobbies, etc.The way to find out how much it will cost is to compare free quotes for life insurance. There are a lot of potential issues here, not the least of which is finding financial justification for the policy that you own on your parents. You should meet with a financial planner to help you work through this.
