it cannot possibly be the united states. in the united states the only ones that can afford healthcare probably cannot actually afford it, their insurance covers it. take away insurance give to many by their jobs and who in the united states can afford to visit a doctor? who can afford to break an arm? who can afford to be diabetic? i just want to give up my citizenship and go where the government takes care of its own people.

EDIT:The World Health Organization has carried out the first ever analysis of the world's health systems. Using five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states...France provides the best overall health care followed among major countries by Italy, Spain, Oman, Austria and Japan. The findings are published today, 21 June, in The World Health Report 2000 Health systems: Improving performance. The U. S. health system spends a higher portion of its gross domestic product than any other country but ranks 37 out of 191 countries according to its performance. The United Kingdom, which spends just six percent of gross domestic product (GDP) on health services, ranks 18th . Several small countries San Marino, Andorra, Malta and Singapore are rated close behind second- placed Italy.SWAY is an idiot - its states above that the rankings are based on FIVE PERFORMANCE INDICATORS - if she had bothered to read. They are:ResponsivenessFairness of financial contributionOverall Level of HealthDistribution of Health in the PopulationsDistribution of Financingwe are ranked 37th OVERALL, not on mortality rates. Duh.

According to my cleaner, Poland.USA is the healthiest country in the world. It's main complaints are about over-eating and diseases resulting therefrom.Universal insurance is no different, in practice, from all of us paying for each others sickness or injury with our tax dollars at once on demand.I am fit, but I can't get sarcasm-repost insurance.
