Default Car Insurance?

We are the driving out-of state, including my mom. Mom is the principle driver. We are driving, and do not live with her, incase of a accident, will she still be covered?

Call the insurance company just make sure. As long as you are taking the car with permission from the owner, there usually isn't a problem.

YOU SHOULD BE FINE BECAUSE THE OWNER WILL BE WITH YOU BUT I WOULD STILL CONTACT THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE BECAUSE SOME INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL NOT COVER PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT NAMED ON THE POLICY.GOOD LUCK AND DRIVE CAREFULLY

as long as there is an active policy on the auto and everyone driving is licensed, they are covered. when you drive from state to state, your coverage will adjust to that states minimum coverages unless your policy limits are higher already. Ex. if you have 30-60-25 and you drive to a state that state minimums are 50-100-50, your coverage automatically increases to that while you are in that state. if you have 50-100-50 and the state you drive to has required limits of only 30-60-25, then your coverage stays at the 50-100-50.
