Just ask for what you lost in wages. Don't ask for pain and suffering as you are barely in pain, and obviously not suffering. If you lie about what money you need from this poor girl from what was an ACCIDENT, you are a very bad person.

The girl who hit you should have to pay for your Dr's visit, and the car repairs through her insurance. I would also go after her for the 3 days of lost work.As far as pain & suffering, you don't really sound like you have any pain, or have suffered much. The insurance adjusters will look at the damage to both cars. If it was a low impact & little damage, I would be surprised if you got anything. Maybe 1000.00.

Honestly, it all depends on the insurance company. My husband was in an accident with 2 days lost work, 2 fractured ribs and a totaled car. They paid the medical bills, as they are supposed to, (your regular health insurance most likely wouldn't cover it...we got denial letters anyway). They will pay your lost wages as well...even if you were paid for time off work (ie. earned time or sick leave) You still used sick time that you normally wouldn't have. They actually, in the end, gave us about $3,000 (not including medical expenses). We didn't ask for anything beyond medical, wages, and a mover (as we had to hire movers due to a scheduled move 10 days after the accident). They flat out offered us that amount without asking. Good luck!

It really depends on each case and the type of injury. You will of course get money for your medical bills and prescription. You should also get money for time missed from work, and mileage to/from work. As far as pain and suffering, you may get something, but it will be a small amount as you have not suffered very long.I was in an accident 11 months ago and have over $32k in medical bills...I have suffered a long time and still am suffering..so you can see the difference...
